We’re delighted to share that Professor Joanna Sułkowska co-organized the amazing “Knots and Proteins” Workshop recently held in Bologna, in partnership with Professor Alessia Cattabriga (University of Bologna) and Professor Boštjan Gabrovšek (University of Ljubljana). Our lab was also well-represented, with several members participating as speakers. You can find more information and the workshop program here.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
8th Visegrad Symposium on Structural Systems Biology is the continuation of previous successful conferences organized by four Visegrad countries. The aim of the organizers of the symposium is to follow the tradition of previously organized meetings in the field of computational simulations and spectroscopy of biologically relevant systems.
There will be 30 min invited lectures covering recent advances in the topics of the Symposium. Other contributions will be presented in one poster session. This poster session provides the main forum for the presentation of new work and for the discussion of recent progress. A few of the contributions will be selected for oral presentation (20 min lectures).
CONFERENCE DATES AND LOCATION:
The 8th Visegrad Symposium on Structural Systems Biology will be held in the Congress Center Miraj Resort in Lučenec, which is cultural and economic centre of Novohrad and natural geographical centre of the southern part of central Slovakia. It lies in the western part of the Lučenec Valley. Lučenec has a continental climate with four alternating seasons.
